"Hello, Caduceus!" Shaun grinned and gestured for Caduceus to step further into the tent. Like all his spaces it was bigger on the inside, more a lavish sitting room with magical lights, comfortable pillows and a full sized bed. There was a beautiful multicolored fire pit in the middle.
Like always, Shaun had spared no comfort when it came to travel. What was a little magic for a good night's sleep?
"Make yourself comfortable. Can I get you some tea?" He would normally offer wine but the cleric had made it clear he didn't drink alcohol.
"Evenin'. It's uh, truly beautiful night out there. You should check it out later when Melora moves her tongue to clear the clouds." Waving a hand about in a mildly dramatic fashion as he talks of his Goddess and her connection to the weather. It's his awkward way of making a joke, something he's still yet to get the hang of.
The room looks amazing! Caduceus was happy to snuggle into a pile of moss and hunker down against the trunk of an old tree for the night, but something in his chest pulled him towards the Sorcerer's tent. He'd missed Shaun since they all left on their mission, he'd not had as much time as he'd liked to spend with him. Something he planned on fixing now.
As he was welcomed in, the Cleric made a b-line straight over towards Shaun himself. Taking a seat as close to him as he could, digging into a little cloth bag he had hanging over a thin shoulder. "Tea would be lovely. Y'sure you don't want me to make it? Y'know I come prepared." He smiled kindly as he looked towards Shaun, that warmth growing in him a little stronger the more he looked.
"Oh, you are a master tea maker." Shaun leaned over for a tray with a tea pot and a few cups. They were elegantly made but sturdy, perfect for traveling. "I will happily turn the tea making over to you, my darling."
He wiggled his fingers to fill the pot with water for Caduceus. Magic was such a gift. "How are you feeling tonight? You seem... restless."
While he didn't have the same gift for reading people that Caduceus did, Shaun was still observant and still good with people. There was something in Caduceus' energy that made him wonder.
He was always happy to listen to whatever troubles his friends had. Especially one so sweet and lovely as Caduceus.
